EXTRA FAST MAKE UP Its cold and snowy outside and you want that exta 10 mins in bed in the morning, but you also need to have fab makeup but wont have time to do it. Look no further than my top tips for good makeup at break-neck speed.... PREP YOUR FACE IN THE SHOWER This saves loads of time. Exfoliate all over then cleanse your face in the shower. LAY OUT YOUR MAKE UP THE NIGHT BEFORE Just like with your clothes so that you can grab and go, lay out your foundation, eye shadow, lipstick etc in the order that you are going to apply for max speed. GO WITH A SIMPLE LOOK If you're not a good planner, you might like to go with a simple look. Just use foundation, powder and mascara - its super quick and you will still look amazing. PLAY UP YOUR EYES Even in a rush, play up your eyes. Mascara and eye liner can make a big difference, so if in a rush skip the eyeshadow. NUDE LIPS Another tip for speed is just use a quick swipe of lipbalm or lip gloss shimmer. DONT SKIP FOUNDATION Even in a rush, try not to skip your foundation Even if you cant fully cover your face in foundation, try to conceal any perfections you may have. A tiny bit of concealer can go a long way! AFTER GYM TIPS
So, Ive been hearing from lots of ladies that they have new gym memberships for 2013. Here are my top tips for successful gym skin care.... GO BARE-FACED Dont apply makeup before going to the gym. You will start to run and you will get it all over you and the equipment. Much better to go barefaced and let all the sweat out. SKIP THE TANNING BED Time will increase wrinkles and sunspots naturally - no need to hasten things along and dry out your skin along the way. BE GENTLE Dont be tempted to scrub in the shower after your workout. Resist the urge to relax tired muscles in hot water as it will strip your skin of vital oils and leave you feeling dry and itchy. RE-HYDRATE YOUR SKIN The best time to do this is straight from the shower so apply a generous dollop of your fav moisturiser and body lotion. PROTECT YOUR SKIN And dont forget before leaving the gym, apply a layer of sun screen and lip balm before battling the elements. Oh ..... and dont forget to take a bottle of water with you....
